Global development of industrial production increases demands on quality and safety of transportation vehicles, including railway vehicles. In this context the internationally recognized standard EN 15085-2:2007 has been developed.

Standard EN 15085-2 aims to ensure that manufacturing and repair companies have an appropriate quality of welding in manufacturing or maintenance of railway vehicles and their components.

The certification for EN 15085-2 is recommended to all companies that are involved in welding of railway vehicles.

Based on requirements of ISO 3834
Different certification levels (CL 1 to 4)
Different weld performance classes (CP A, CP B, CP C1, CP C2, CP C3, CP D)
